War has a purpose for the people fighting in the war. War can have purposes that seem prudent to one group, but stupid or wrong to another group. Also, the war that is being fought can determine whether or not the war has a good or any purpose at all.
I don't think that war always has a good purpose. In the end, someone will surrender and the war will end, but until then, there is still a problem and people are dying for absolutely no good reason! I think that all war should just finally END & STOP!!!!!

Its to see who is stronger and has better tactics. but its all useless because they wastes all this time and money on guns and vehicles when they could just make a agreement. I think that war has a bad purpose and a useless one which could be easily avoided.
I also disagree with Sheikh. War is not always a good way to settle things. At the end there is still a major problem and in the process, many lives are lost for a problem that can be solved without guns but with a compromise. A country should not have something their way because of their strength but because of what that area really needs.

Everyone who thinks i support war, I don't. I don't like to fight. I don't and never will like to fight. Are you guys saying that when the American revolution took place that the Americans and British found for "Seeing who is stronger anbd has better tactics" (wonder who wrote that). No!!!!!!!!! they found for freedom. All I am saying is that war is evil, but sometimes arguments just boil up and people begin to fight. Just like when people call me out in school for no good reason. Now that's a dumb reason to fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think war really has no purpose at all because like george said yes it is a waste of money but, the important reason why war is stupid is because everyday someone gets hurt or is dying. would you like to risk your life for something so stupid? i wouldnt. we should put a end to war and deal with our problems in another way.

i think war has a purpose that is soooo stupid! war is supposably meant to have a winner but there is no winner only losers.either way both country lose even if its family, a home, or anything else. war has "GOOD" purpose. our country has spent more in the past 4-5 months on money for war than the past seven years!!!! THAT IS TOO MUCH MONEYBEING SPENT ON A USELESS THING LIKE WAR!!!!this is why i think that war has the dumbest purpose!!! its nothing to be proud of.
